Over 20 years ago, a group of Chinese medicine practitioners founded People’s Herbs to provide high-quality products for other practitioners to use to treat their patients. Years of research and development led to our line of safe and effective formulas that have brought good health to countless people. After years of use by licensed practitioners, our products are now available directly to the general public on PeoplesHerbs.com.
Our ReDermaVive skincare line launched in 2020, and includes a variety of handcrafted herbal medicinal cosmetics that are custom-designed by herbalists and estheticians. Each ReDermaVive product includes a multi-layered synergetic mix of Chinese herbs, botanical oils, and essential oils that work together harmoniously to balance the skin. Made with love in small batches in our Portland, Oregon kitchen, customers can count on receiving fresh products with potent ingredients. ReDermaVive skincare is full of antioxidants and incredible anti-aging properties to help moisturize, firm, and brighten for healthy, radiant skin.
About Chinese Medicine
Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) is an ancient system of health and wellness that has been practiced in China for thousands of years. While Western medicine focuses mainly on treating a specific disease, Chinese medicine focuses on the entire well-being of the individual.
TCM is based on a concept of balanced qi (pronounced "chee"), or vital energy, that is believed to flow throughout the body. Qi is believed to regulate a person’s spiritual, emotional, mental and physical balance and to be influenced by the opposing complementary forces of yin (negative energy) and yang (positive energy). In TCM, disease forms when the flow of qi is disrupted, and yin and yang are no longer in balance.
At ReDermaVive, we focus on herbal medicinal cosmetics by designing formulations that are made with plants and minerals that have appeared in the Chinese Materia Medica for ages. These traditional “recipes of life” have been time tested to show their success at restoring, balancing, and improving the skin.
